In the modeling industry, you are up against a slew of perfect bodies. You have to show that you are the best candidate, over the competition.

Know how to sell yourself and target the market that works best for you. Targeting the wrong market can be an embarrassing blunder for you. It is essential to have a very good photographer. Remember that companies want to make sure that their models are worth the investment. You need to prove that you are giving it your all. That means do not pick an off the shelf camera, with your uncle taking the pictures. You need to take the time and money to invest in a professional photographer and one that works in the modeling industry. You want to choose a photographer that can portray your ideal. There is always room for improvement but, being second best is not an option.
